Hanger 18 - Morris County Airport, East Hanover, NJ. 1 story structure with clear spans to allow plans to be parked inside. Due to poor soil and tough environmental conditions high performance slabs were used. The interior slab is 4,000 psi concrete supported on wood piles. Exterior slabs are 9 inches thick, 4,500 psi concrete supported on wood piles. To keep it green as possible fly ash was used to reduce cement content throughout the project.
